　Zhenjiang New & Hi-Tech Industrial Development Park Administrative Committee

Jiangsu Zhenjiang New & Hi-Tech Industrial Development Park Administrative Bureau, established on June 9th, 2002, was one duty department in Zhenjiang New & Hi-Tech Industrial Development Park with the main responsibilities of investment attraction, service supplying for in-the-Park enterprises, civil construction and administration. There are 4 offices in the Bureau, Office (Tel: 8884335), Investment Promotion Office (Tel: 8885233), Economic Development Office (Tel: 8884319) and Civil Construction Administrative Office (Tel: 8884297)
Office is responsible for communication & coordination between inside and outside, publicity and report, conference arrangement and reception, assistance on Party building and discipline inspection to CPC Bureau Committee.
Investment Promotion Office is responsible for investment promotion in the Park, communication and coordination with Investment Promotion Bureau 1 and 2, tracking and promotion of contracted projects
Economic Development Office is responsible for all economic index statistic and analysis of in-the-Park enterprise, assistance of approval procedures to investor, coordination with all administrative departments and enterprise, service supply to enterprise on problem resolution, assistance of safety production supervision and administration to Safety Production Supervising and Administrative Bureau, administrative approval for public affairs.
Civil Construction Administrative Office is responsible for the program of Park yearly construction, participation of key project certification in the Park, organization and operation of Park’s infrastructure construction, collection of Construction Operation Tax, Supporting Fee and Land Fees.

　Dingmao Community Office

Dingmao Community Office, established in June, 1998, is one representative by Zhenjiang New Area Administrative Committee to execute governmental administration to Dingmao District. The main responsibilities are Party building, administration, economic development, social stability and all services for Park construction. There are 5 community committees, 4 county committees and one administrative county.
As the location of Zhenjiang New & Hi-Tech Industrial Development Park, Dingmao Communicty Office is booming in economic development with 238 enterprises and over 700 individual industrial & commercial businessmen underling mainly involving in 5 industry fields of electronics, automobile, ligh industry, construction material and chemicals. In 2004, the four main economic index of the Community increased over 60% compared with that of the same period last year,by the GDP of RMB 1.5 billion yuan, the industrial sales revenue of RMB 1.2 billion yuan, the profit & tax of RMB 80 million yuan and the fixed asset investment of RMB 600 million yuan. In recent years, due to its prominent work in all fields, Dingmao Community Office was commended oftenly by provincial government & Party Committee and be titled as “Advanced Community in Social General Treatment in 2000 to 2004”, by municipality government and Party Committee to be titled as “Zhenjiang Safe and Civilized Community”, “Safety Community”, “Zhenjiang Advanced Sanitary Community”, “Zhenjiang Advanced Party Foundation Organization” and so on.

　Zhenjiang New & Hi-Tech Business-starting Service Center

Zhenjiang New & Hi-Tech Business-starting Service Center, located in No. 12 Longitude Road in Zhenjiang New & Hi-Tech Industrial Development Park, shares with Zhenjiang Pioneering Park for Overseas Chinese Scholars the same administration and to be named as Zhenjiang Business-starting Park together.
Zhenjiang New & Hi-Tech Business-starting Service Center, approved by Jiangsu Science and Technology Department in March, 1998, is one compositive science and technology service organization. Zhenjiang Pioneering Park for Overseas Chinese Scholars, approved by Jiangsu Human Resources Department in July, 2000, is one science and technology industry service organization by Zhenjiang New & Hi-Tech Industry Development Park and Zhenjiang Human Resources Bureau special for overseas Chinese scholars, who return back to motherland and start business. On July 10th, 2002, it was approved by National Human Resources Ministry to be national-leveled Park by National Human Resources Ministry and local government. To speed up the development of IT industry, to promote further informationization of manufacturing, to drive reconstruction and upgrading of traditional industries, Zhenjiang New & Hi-Tech Business-starting Service Center cooperated with Zhenjiang Information Industry Bureau in 2003 to start the project of Zhenjiang Software Park.
Zhenjiang Business-starting Park is the base of Zhenjiang new & hi-tech enterprises’ incubator and an important composition of “Revitalizing the City through Science and Education” strategy. In recent years, with continuous hard and soft environment construction, service function strengthening, attration and support for small & medium-sized new & hi-tech enterprises, the Park has developed to a certain scale. From the establishment of the Park till now, there are 64 small & medium-sized new & hi-tech enterprises settled down in the incubitator, among which 21 enterprises are invested by overseas Chinese scholars, with total investment of RMB 220 million yuan, foreign capital of USD12.11 million. The “graduated” enterprises are 11. In 2004, the industrial GDP of the incubator reached RMB 168 million yuan, sale revenue of RMB 157 million yuan, the profit and tax of RMB 18.2 million yuan, created foreign exchang by export of USD5.6 million. There are over 900 technicians working in the Park.
