　Policy

To set up the support fund for overseas Chinese scholars’ business-start for supporting incubated enterprises, to recommendate in priority for provincial, municipal and district technology research projects, to set up the innovation fund for national technological type small & midium-sized enterprise.
The enterprise invested by overseas Chinese scholars or doctors or post-doctors, which settled down in the Park can enjoy the preferential policies for foreign invested enterprises in term of “two years exemption and three years half” of the enterprise income tax-two consecutive years exemption from enterprise income tax from the first profit-making year and half of the rate is allowed from the 3rd to the 5th year, if the enterprise will operate more than three years and lease 300m2 workshop in the Park. After the expiry of the income tax preferential period, the municipal government will program special fund to be bonus paid to enterprise with 50% of local retained part of the paid income tax during the 6th year to the 10th year.　　
The qualified software R&D enterprise and software products by provincial Information Industry Office will enjoy 17% VAT before 2010 from the qualification date and enjoy the return policy of exceeding 3% of paid tax, which will be used for enterprise’s R&D and production expansion.
The new & hi-tech output, know-how, patent, trademark of overseas Chinese scholars can be invested as invisible asset and the ratio can reach 35% to the share capital. Those independent knowledge property right and those new & hi-tech output can be turned into scaled production can be invested and the ratio is not limited to 35%.
The spouse and under-age children of the overseas Chinese scholars, who set up incubated enterprise in the Park, can settle in Zhenjiang free of charge.
